My Sewing Room

This is my sewing room. This room was originally a spare bedroom turned into an exercise room turned into a sewing/exercise room. I had to remove the door to make room for my sewing tables! I plan on making a shear curtain to replace the door but i don't mind not having a door. I will do the curtain but it will mainly be for practice. I'm working my way up to some real projects.

I have a Kenmore 19233 sm and a Pfaff Coverstyle Serger.

Sewing Room

This table was an old metal heavy duty desk that i covered with some batting and an old flannel sheet. It has a big deep drawer under the sm side. It was free therefore it works for me! Notice my (our) first attempt at making a duct tape dummy. My husband, dan did all the work. I just stood there. It's not quite done. It needs a cover. It is pretty close to my measurements - a little bigger then me though. Next one will be better.

This pic is taken from the doorway. See treadmill and workout bench still there. Notice ironing board in front of excerise stuff. I do use plan on getting back into my workout routine, really! At least you don't see any clothes hanging off the treadmill.
